2008 CrossFit Games

In any order, perform the following three workouts:

Three rounds, 21-15- and 9 reps, for time of:
95 pound Thruster (65 pound for women)
Pull-ups (chest must hit the bar to count)

5 rounds for time of:
275 pound Deadlifts, 5 reps (185 pounds for women)
10 Burpees (with clap overhead while airborne)

Run either 750m on a steep trail or 1.5 K on a road or track

The start time for the second workout should be 4 hours after the first. The start time for the third workout should be 4 hours after the second.

Post total time for all three workouts to comments.

I could not stand it I did all three with 10 minutes rest between all workouts. What a kick in the butt!

I did the run first and then waited four hours for the next set of exercises. I had to complete the last to WODs consecutively because I had to go to work.

Total time: 26:05

1.5k run: 6:14
10 min rest
Fran with chest to bar pull-ups: 8:09
(thrusters were unbroken, pull-ups broken in 2nd and 3rd sets, hadto do about 3 extra reps for form)
15 min rest
Deadlift/Burpees: 7:03
(did round one with 275# felt certain that my form would break down so I dropped down to 255# for rounds 2-5)

Total: 21:26

I thought I would be cool like Jayson and everyone else and do all of these in one session with only a short rest...no such luck.
I started with Fran (thruster WOD) and was determined to do it as rx'd. Close, real close...

I refuse to do assisted pull-ups on my next Fran. I have a whole year to lose 5 minutes.

I rested 10 minutes and started the DL WOD, but only got 4 DL's into the 2nd round before I had to stop. I was way too dizzy to continue. Now I know why it said wait 4 hours! I'll get that WOD and the run in the AM.

I need to know where I stand against this years competitors so I can train for next years games!

Made up the DL/burpee WOD today. Did 135# DL and real push-up burpees.

Got my first set of bloody shins today!

35 x 2 Dumbbell Thruster for 10, then I switched to 25 x 2 for the rest.
Did all standard pull-ups but it was 3 and 2 at a time.
Rd 1 : 5:40 rd 2 11:37 rd 3 15:32

45 x 2 lb dumbbell deadlift
and burpees 9:58

Ran about 750 at Young park. Pretty tough. I ran hard. I can't find my time now, but I think I can on my ipod. These stats may be off, as I did it on the day of, and didn't post it until today. I was only lurking at the time.
